Thursday, January 22, 2009
Trails "I", "G", and "D" to the Warming Hut were groomed today.
Yes, the trails do look that good. Click on each picture to enlarge. No rain or snow was observed today. The machines will stay in the shed for several days until snows arrive and allow us to get out. The 5000' (parking lot/ shed) level is pretty sparse, 5300- 7000' is where the pictures came from today. The first five minutes of your ride from the parking lot (5000') to the "Y" (5200') will be on thin ice and some bare spots, but beyond that----well check out the pictures again......Be careful and enjoy. Snow is predicted for Sat, Sun and Monday and its arrival will be the key to the quality and safety of the trails.
