Poker Run is TODAY---Enjoy

Groomers will NOT be out tomorrow.....expecting some snow, lets hope it is enough at the 5K level to get us back on the trails this coming week. UPDATE: OVER 200 SNOWMOBILES ENJOYED THE POKER RUN AND NO WE DID NOT GET ENOUGH SNOW SATURDAY NIGHT TO PUT THE GROOMERS BACK ON THE TRAILS---- GROOMING IS CURRENTLY ON HOLD.

Groomers are busy this week getting ready for the Poker Run (Trails "I", "G", "D", and "B")




Message from the Butte Meadows Hillsliders Snowmobile Club: The POKER RUN is a "GO" for this Saturday---- Jan. 29th!!!!!!!!!! Trails are flat, wide and well packed and yes, VERY ICY in the mornings--Be Safe, reduce your speed and remain in control. Our one narrow spot (Robbers Roost) is shown in the pictures above and as can be seen is well marked and cut/banked to keep you away from the edge......One Groomer was out yesterday (1/24) and will return tomorrow (1/26) and Thursday during the day (1/27) and again late Friday night (1/28) to keep the trails in shape. The groomers will be off the trails Saturday and Sunday. The Next post will be upon the arrival of more snow at 5000 feet and above. So Please remember: You can purchase tickets in advance at the Mercantile in Butte Meadows and Cedar Lodge in Chester. Tickets will also be sold at Faniani Meadows the morning of the event and of course at the Outpost on Friday night and Saturday morning. Be safe and enjoy a Winter wonderland -- The Lassen National Forest.

Both Groomers were out today. Trails are as near perfect as it gets--Wide, Flat, and well Packed---Be safe and Enjoy! Also please note-----We will be taking some time off for needed service and repairs as well as waiting for new snow to arrive.
