Groomed Trails "I", "F" and "D" and "C" to Hwy 89 today.
One groomer was out today and the main artery from Jonesville, past the Warming Hut and on to HWY 89 is now open. Tomorrow we are down for needed repairs. Thursday and Friday a new storm with extremely low snow levels. We will let the snow settle and give road departments time do their job on Saturday and be back on the trails Sunday and continue through the week until all trails are in great shape...........

Groomed Trails "I", "F" and "D" to the Warming Hut today.
One Groomer was out today and groomed to the Warming Hut. Tomorrow will return on same trails and complete "D" and "C" to HWY 89 also. Will start trail "B" on Wednesday. One word about current snow conditions-----UNBELIEVEABLE! Also Comments are appreciated and do help me decide which directions to go each day. I receive them as emails -- usually through the day while on the trails and then decide which I post each evening.

Groomed first 2 miles of Trail "I" today
As can be seen by the pictures we have snow! Three feet at the parking lot and was snowing and is to continue snowing apparently for a number of days. The snow was too deep for our Tucker so went out with just the Bombardier and within 2 miles from the shed the snow was bellowing up more than halfway up the front window and at that point the machine just comes a halt---still at full throttle!.......That has only happened to me once before------Needless to say I returned to the barn. I will try again Monday, maybe it will have settled a bit. Keep in mind where I turned around was our lowest elevation, can only imagine what our higher elevations look like. Their forecasts of 12 foot of snow or more last week for this week seem to be accurate. As soon as we can make headway we will be on the trails dailey until all are in great shape.

Grooming Trails "I", "F", and "D" in 2-3 days!
New storms HAVE arrived and will continue through Wednesday !!!! Heavy snow accumulations are expected at our elevations through Wednesday and beyond. Some snow at 2000 feet. We would like to be out Wednesday, however, storm intensity (snow/winds) may move that to a Thursday/Friday time frame----rest assured we will be out when it is safe for our machines..... Winter apparently has returned. We will post again when the groomers are on the trails.

Grooming on Hold!
Grooming is currently on HOLD. No new snow for almost 6 weeks now and it will take a series of snow storms at the 5K level to get us back on the trails. Rest assured we are watching closely --- Models today are predicting heavy storms beginning Feb 15th or so, lets hope they are cold and the models hold.
