Warming Hut Complex through our 2010/11 snow season

Remember the Complex has lights

Where is the Warming Complex?

Each time at least one entrance was opened!
In the near future the three volunteer groomers will be spending a day doing pre-season checkout and minor maintenance at the Warming Hut Complex.  We will post the date, time, and details here. All snowmobilers are encouraged to set the date aside and stop by to pitch in.  Butte Meadows Hillsliders of course will purchase all necessary supplies.  So whether you come from the Jonesville side or the Chester side, club member or not, please join us and pitch in.

Welcome to the 2011-2012 snow year!

Butte Meadows Hillslider's first meeting of the current snow year was held Wednesday, Oct 12th and our next meeting will be held Wednesday, Nov 9th. Not a member---come and join and enjoy the benefits of being a club member.
Current members please be reminded memberships run from October to October of each year. The new 2011-2012 membership form may be found in the Membership Section in the right column of this webpage, while there, check out all memberships details. So whether you are a new member or old, please print out the membership form, fill it out and mail with your check to the address provided.
While in the membership area you will also see that we have announced our 2012 Poker Run and it is scheduled for Saturday January 28th.
So we are off to a great start and this snow year ----- is forecasted to be supported by another La Nina---- and is predicted to produce extremely heavy snows in our area again. If you need a refresher on what that means, checking out the webpage's slideshow as well as some of our end of season posts will remind you of last year and what HEAVY snows mean for us...... especially check the pics of the Warming Hut Complex.
So the engines are serviced, a new engine is approved, and your volunteer groomers are ready, and we will see you on the trails late in December when the Lassen National Forest is closed by-- Forest Order-- to all wheeled vehicles.
As always the Head Groomer may be contacted by commenting on the latest post. Comments go directly to my email, at home or on the trail, and after reading are either posted or not. If you include your email contact info, your comment will not be posted without your permission!
